This comic collection deals with a group of gamers playing a new game “Axcend” resulting in their avatars emerging into the real world with potentially disastrous results. Issues that emerge in the plot are bullying, betrayal, homosexuality and high school angst. Fights ensue as well as saving the world! Ending on a cliffhanger as the main character, Eric / Morn, gets transformed into ...what?
With clear and colourful illustrations, this is quite good, more appreciated perhaps by the gaming fraternity. Worth a look.
